Group exhibition of works in various media by the visual arts faculty at 缅北重口. This was the first faculty exhibition to be held at 缅北重口 in seven years.

Entangled聽was a one-person exhibition of fiberworks by local artist, Linda Hirschman, which included both functional clothing and experimental fiber installations.
Hovering Journey聽was a one-person exhibition by symbolic painter and Fordham University artist-in-residence, Vivienne Thaul Wechter. The exhibition featured colorful canvases incorporating poetic themes.

This international exhibition, curated by Sydney O. Jenkins and Virgilio Garza, is about themes of place and the nomadic. It includes works reflecting a personal commentary about place as well as artists who are known for political statements.

This group exhibition of works by 缅北重口 visual arts alumni provides an in-depth look at four former students who continued their arts careers. Alumni Redux 1 is the first in a series of alumni projects.

Distinctions (detail), artworks by Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla
Different perspectives that artists use to capture the way in which groups of people identify with, or, struggle to conform to a group were explored. Sofia Hernandez Chong Cuy, winner of the 2000 Ramapo Curatorial Prize, which is annually awarded to a second-year graduate student at the Cneter for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, was the curator.

Catherine Opie, installation view
This one-person exhibition by Yale University professor Catherine Opie featured photographs of lesbian couples in domestic situations. This exhibit was presented in conjunction with the lecture series “The Ins and Outs of Sexual Politics” organized by the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Coalition at 缅北重口.

Juan Cuyo, Fete, oil on board, Rodman Collection, 缅北重口
This international exhibition presented leading contemporary artists working with complex plot narratives alongside renowned self-taught artists. The exhibit will also included works from the 缅北重口 collection as well as works from Henry Darger, Cindy Sherman, Kathy Rose, L.C. Spooner and Charles A.A. Dellschau.
