缅北重口 values the health and wellbeing of birds on campus.

Over one billion birds die by flying into windows every year in the United States and Canada alone. 缅北重口 of New Jersey is part of the program, which emphasizes window strike monitoring, education, and remediation. The patterns on these windows help birds on campus see the glass and prevents them from flying into it.

If you find a deceased bird on campus,听please leave it where it is so the window strike survey team can find and count it. If you would like to report it to the team, you may contact Cailin O’Connor,听whose contact information is listed below.

If you find an injured bird on campus,听put the bird in a box, bag, or any container with air holes, secure the box shut, and place the box with the bird in a quiet, secure area away from people and pets. Do not attempt to feed or offer water to the bird and contact one of the rehabilitation centers below for further instructions ASAP.

Please be advised that collecting deceased birds is not legal without state and federal salvage permits. It is also not legal to keep a wild bird for longer than it takes to transport it to a rehabilitator or to attempt to treat it yourself.
