What is ResNET?<\/h3>\n

Residential Networking (ResNET) provides high-speed Ethernet access for students living in the 缅北重口 Residence Halls (Pine, Linden, Bischoff Hall, and Mackin Hall), College Park Apartments, The Village and Overlook. ResNET’s primary responsibility is to support network connectivity. When an appointment is made, ResNET will bring test equipment to verify the connectivity of the port\/computer.<\/p>\n

ResNET does not usually provide Technical support other than email and internet\/network connectivity related problems. In this regard ResNET WILL NOT open computers or fix hardware\/software problems. This policy will not be broken under ANY circumstances. This policy also includes the installation of the required Ethernet card. As a result, occasions may occur when you will may need to bring your computer to a store (Staples, BestBuy, etc) or to the manufacturer to have it fixed or the Ethernet card installed.<\/p>\n

We do not support computers that do not meet the minimum requirements. During peak hours the network may experience slower speeds due to increased online activity.<\/p>\n

Computers and information technology have become an integral part of academic, administrative and residential life. ResNET is committed to providing in-room network connections in Residence Halls. These connections provides residential access to network resources, including e-mail, Library resources and the World Wide Web as additional support of the overall mission of the college.
