Who is a first-generation student?<\/h4>\n

A first-generation student is defined at 缅北重口 of New Jersey as a student where neither parent(s) nor legal guardian(s) have completed a bachelor\u2019s degree in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Mission<\/h4>\n

The First-Generation Student Center at 缅北重口 of New Jersey provides purposeful support and engaging services to create an equitable environment for first-generation Roadrunners. The goal of the Center is to promote first-generation student success through learning experiences that cultivate a sense of belonging and encourage holistic student development.<\/p>\n

Beyond making history for first-gen students and their families, the First-Generation Student Center also provides training and resources to campus community members to increase awareness and understanding of the lived experiences of first-generation Roadrunners.<\/p>\n

Support First-Generation Roadrunners<\/h4>\n

缅北重口 of New Jersey welcomed an incoming first-year class in Fall 2024, with 45% of new students identifying as first-generation college students who are on their way to being the first in their families to graduate with a bachelor\u2019s degree.\u00a0 You can make a gift that will have a direct impact on a first-generation student, their family, and their community \u2013 as they boldly make history!<\/p>\n
