{"id":5439,"date":"2018-06-01T11:11:41","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T15:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2021-2022\/?page_id=5439"},"modified":"2018-06-01T11:11:41","modified_gmt":"2018-06-01T15:11:41","slug":"waiver-of-general-education-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2021-2022\/academic-policies\/waiver-of-general-education-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Waiver of General Education Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students who transfer to 缅北重口 with at least 48 credits from an accredited institution of higher learning but without a completed associate of arts or associate of science\u00a0 degree may be waived from some general education requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Students who transfer to 缅北重口 with at least 48 credits from an accredited institution of higher learning must transfer from that institution or complete at 缅北重口 courses that meet the following 缅北重口 general education requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical Reading and Writing 102<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative Reasoning<\/li>\n<li>Scientific Reasoning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These students will be waived from all other keystone courses in the College\u2019s general education curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, these students must take one course from each of two of the following distribution categories at 缅北重口:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Culture and Creativity<\/li>\n<li>Values and Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Systems, Sustainability, and Society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During academic advisement, students will be advised of any applicable waivers of general education requirements as well as any remaining general education courses that they must complete to fulfill 缅北重口\u2019s degree requirements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2021-2022\/academic-policies\/\">Back to Undergraduate Academic Policies<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students who transfer to 缅北重口 with at least 48 credits from an accredited institution of higher learning but without a completed associate of arts or associate of science\u00a0 degree may be waived from some general education requirements.
